Slicing nga ku

Yesterday I was helping my mom in the kitchen with the New Year crackers .. mom used nga ku (chinese arrowhead)

looks like garlic thingy ..

so basically we soak the arrowheads .. all of them waiting their turn to be sliced ..

then we run them through the slicer thingy into thin little pieces ..

tada! looks like poker chip! :D

what is the end result ? after the arrowheads were sliced, then it was time to fry them.

i'm sure you know how it looked it :)
